Do you remember the song The Hump from the 1960s? It was a chart-topper in towns across the nation. Decades later, three of the four original band members from the group behind the song, The Invictas, are back together and hitting the road.

They are still bringing their high energy, over-the-top blast-from-the-past type of rock and roll to audiences everywhere. USA Today calls them “geezer rock at its finest.”

Lead singer Herb Gross (pictured above, center, with the guitar) talks to Growing Bolder about getting the band back together again and why it took so long. Find out how different it is to play together now that they’re in their 60s, rather than it being the ’60s.

Herb also shares the behind-the-scenes story of writing the group’s biggest hit, The Hump.

What does it mean to return to the passion of his youth? Herb explains how playing music fills his soul and makes him feel like a kid again. It’s what he calls Rock ‘Til You Drop. Get inspired to keep living boldly in your life!
