Jimmy Sturr has won an incredible 18 Grammy Awards — more than Paul McCartney, Beyonce or Leonard Bernstein — and you’ve probably never heard of him.

He’s the undisputed king of polka, and over the years, he’s shared the studio with the likes of Arlo Guthrie, Willie Nelson, the Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels and more. He’s been on nearly every network, even appearing several times on “Saturday Night Live.”

His weekly show on RFDTV boasts millions of viewers, and he’s the author of the new book, “Polka King.”

Jimmy explains why he think polka has taken a beating and what he wants everyone to know about this rich musical tradition.

Plus, find out why he believes he’s still drawing crowds of 15,000-20,000 people around the country, outselling many rock bands, but is still relatively unknown.

The King of Polka explains the roots of polka in America and how he’s starting to see it influence popular rock bands.
