Jock Freemantle may have been born and raised in the UK but he’s now a New Zealander through and through.

He’s been an engineer for Rolls Royce, designed water systems for neighborhoods and helped create and built a racing yacht.

For the past several years, though, he has poured his heart and soul into not just helping develop a super car but to get it into production as well. It’s called the Hulme, named after famous driver Denny Hulme, and it’s one of the coolest cars you’ve ever seen.

But there’s a devastating twist to the story — Jock has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and now he’s in a race against time to make his dream come true.

Despite his diagnosis, his attitude and enthusiasm for life remains upbeat and contagious. Jock describes this “driver’s car” super car and what he’s doing to get more drivers around the world behind the wheel.

Jock also speaks truthfully and emotionally about his “bloody awful” cancer battle and how his faith is helping him through it.
