Lou Sabini

Lou Sabini has been a film fanatic ever since he learned to read. He was living a pretty normal life for a 12-year-old kid until his dad did something that changed everything. He brought home a 16mm movie projector, which started Lou on a passion that would last a lifetime.

He started collecting old Laurel and Hardy films. Then, his interest expanded to other comedies and pre-Code Hollywood social dramas of the 1930s and 1940s. Now, Lou has more than 1,000 films in his archive and he’s dedicated himself to introducing the magic and the memory of these great old treasures to a whole new generation.

Lou explains how you can learn so much about history, our past and even literature through movies.

And do your kids or grandkids think they hate black-and-white films? Lou has tips and stories of success about getting kids passionate about Hollywood classic films.

Lou explains how he’s been able to pursue his passion to the point where he’s considered one of the most knowledgable experts in the country.
