Marshall Lytle was a part of a music revolution.  As the bass player for Bill Haley and the Comets, he played a large role in making the rock ‘n’ roll songs that changed the music industry forever.  In fact, the band’s greatest hit, “Rock Around the Clock,” has gone down in the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest-selling single by any group in history.

But Marshall didn’t stop in the 1950s.  As he approaches his 77th birthday, he and the other band members continue to tour the world, rocking as hard as ever.

Plus, Marshall explains how “Rock Around the Clock’s” huge success can be traced to an unlikely source — actor Glenn Ford’s young son.
