Mary Flynn has had a lifelong love affair with writing, and it’s still going strong in her 70s.
She began as a full-time staff writer for Hallmark Cards, then moved on to writing stories for comprehension tests used in public schools throughout the country. She’s also written observational humor for the New York Times and Newsday and recently retired from Disney to write full-time.
Mary says her life is not the life she dreamed of at 21, but she wouldn’t change a thing. She says we all are going to go through difficult times and experiences in life, but despite those hardships, she loves life now more than ever.
Find out why she’s so in love with the entire human experience and how she keeps an open mind about what’s possible in life. She passionately explains why she feels so blessed by her adversities, from her unexpected divorce to her breast cancer.
