Nearly 50 years after releasing its first album, Aerosmith continues to rock! The band has announced that it will play 18 shows in Las Vegas in 2019, taking up residency in April, June and July.

The residency will be called “Aerosmith: Deuces are Wild” and will be featured at the Park Theater, according to lead singer Steven Tyler.

The band says this residency will include “never-before-seen visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions” to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and as band member Joe Perry says:

“We wanted to bring a show in there that we really can’t do on the road on a regular tour. So we want to bring a show that still has Aerosmith and all the guts of Aerosmith but has a whole other element to it.”

Aerosmith is known for hits including “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” ”Janie’s Got a Gun” and “Walk This Way.” The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, while Tyler and Perry entered the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2013.

Aerosmith also includes Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford. All members of Aerosmith are in their 60s or 70s and say this residency will include a showcase of the band’s history and its five decades in action!
