Gulfshore Media, publisher of Orlando Home & Leisure Magazine, and Bolder Media Group, producer of the Growing Bolder TV and Radio Shows today announced that Growing Bolder Magazine, a new 50+ active lifestyle publication, will officially launch with issues in August and October of 2012 before becoming a bi-monthly magazine in January of 2013.

“We’re excited about our partnership with Gulfshore Media, the region’s premier publisher,” says Marc Middleton, Growing Bolder CEO and Editor of Growing Bolder Magazine. “This is a fantastic opportunity to extend the Growing Bolder brand onto a new platform while allowing us to further engage our large and passionate audience. Growing Bolder Magazine provides the tools and resources to make 50+ the best time of our lives.”

“This demographic is making decisions not only for themselves but in many cases their parents, children and grandchildren,” says Publisher Randy Noles of Gulfshore Media. “They are juggling jobs, family issues and a growing desire to find significance in their own lives. Growing Bolder Magazine offers a unique and powerful point of contact for advertisers, enabling them to truly connect with men and women over 50 – and their parents – who are making decisions about how they want to live the rest of their lives and will look to this publication for guidance.”

Growing Bolder has developed a loyal audience for its media products which include a national weekly TV show seen on more than 560 public broadcasting stations, a regional weekly radio show, an online radio network, and a growing network of websites. “We want to instill the DNA of our Growing Bolder TV and Radio Shows into Growing Bolder Magazine,” adds Middleton. “Our audience is interested in overall wellness and believes the best is still ahead. We have developed an upbeat, meaningful conversation with this demographic and we’re inviting a few select partners to join in that conversation.”

Growing Bolder Magazine will be supported with a very strong digital component including online and mobile versions. Its editorial content will feature profiles of ordinary people who are pursuing extraordinary lives; survivors, master sports stars, business leaders, boomerpreneurs, rocks stars of aging and more. Regular features will include active lifestyle and wellness tips, and insight from familiar figures in business, sports, entertainment, healthcare, travel and more.
