Ellington Darden is one of America’s top fitness experts.

As an amateur bodybuilder, he won dozens of major titles in the 1960s and ’70s, including Collegiate Mr. America. He then spent nearly two decades as director of research for Nautilus, helping change the way the world works out.

And he’s got the brains to match the body. He holds a master’s degree in physical education, a doctorate in exercise science and two years of post-doctoral study in food and nutrition.

He’s been called one of the top 10 health leaders in the U.S. by the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition. He’s the author of many best-selling books. His latest is called “The Body Fat Breakthrough: Tap the Muscle Building Power of Negative Training and Lose Up to 30 Pounds in 30 Days.”

Ellington explains how he’s grown frustrated over the last 50 years watching adults and children grow fatter and fatter and he wanted to find solutions that people can stick with for their entire lifetimes.

Using the example of a push-up, he explains his negative training concept and reveals some of the results he’s found in large studies.

Plus, what are fat bombs? He explains how vital sleep, diet and drinking water are to losing weight.
