Robyn Benincasa is an athlete, firefighter, mentor and motivational speaker who came to prominence as an adventure racer. Out of 36 races she entered, she placed in 25 of them.
But like so many of us, life had different ideas and decided to throw her a curveball.
A serious health setback forced her to think of things differently, and it led her to found Project Athena, which helps women with medical or traumatic setbacks live an adventurous dream as part of their recovery.
Robyn is also the author of the book, “How Winning Works: 8 Essential Leadership Lessons from the Toughest Teams on Earth,” in which she shares what she learned about leadership that can transfer to almost every area of life.
She says what so many of us fail to recognize is that all of us are in our own adventure races every single day.
Robyn wants us to all learn to harness the power of our relationships because it’s not always the greatest athletes who win, it’s usually the greatest teammates. She says that same theory applies to life.
She explains how to capitalize on your strengths and outsource your weaknesses.
Robyn will also teach you how to analyze yourself and shift your thinking from a fear of failure to a hope for success.
