Dr. Dot Richardson is inspiration and energy personified. She captained the U.S. Olympic softball team that took home the gold in 1996 and 2000 while working her way through medical school in orthopedic surgery.

Dot was an NBC Sports broadcaster for the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece, and most recently, she was named Commissioner of the ProFastpitch X-Treme Tour.

She guest-hosted the Growing Bolder radio show and discussed how she manages to balance her passions for sport and medicine with her family life.
