Fyvush Finkel is an Emmy Award-winning actor who made his stage debut at the age of 9 — 82 years ago!
He did stand-up comedy in the Borscht Belt, performed in Yiddish theater productions and by the mid-1960s, he was in the original Broadway production of “Fiddler on the Roof.”
His big breaks in life came years later because it’s never too late. Now 91, he says the phone is still ringing and he’s still working.
He explains how he found jobs later in his life, including the critically acclaimed and beloved “Picket Fences,” which earned him an Emmy at the age of 72.
