For 25 years, the Learning Institute for Elders (LIFE) has presented a weekly speaker series at the University of Central Florida. With every weekly presentation, LIFE dispels the stereotype of aging being a time of loss and loneliness. After launching with 50 members, the group has swelled to more than 650 members, with a lengthy waiting list.

Learn more about the social movement under way and hear from one of the movement’s leaders, Dr. Roger Landry, the author of “Live Long, Die Short” and a Growing Bolder contributor.
