If you want to get active but you’re not sure which event to try, why not give them all a shot?
That’s pretty much what Ernie Bach did when he became a first-time participant in the Good Life Games at the age of 70. And since he didn’t know where to start, he signed up for 28 events. He stunned the field of competitors by walking away with 24 medals.
He says the games taught him that anyone at any stage of their life can get out there and play. In fact, Ernie even injured his knee during the competition, but that didn’t stop him from picking up an additional nine medals.
