Sela Ward is a multiple Emmy Award-winning actress, a New York Times best-selling author, producer, painter and philanthropist.

She has starred in two critically acclaimed TV series, Sisters and Once and Again, and in major motion pictures, including The Fugitive, The Day After Tomorrow, Gone Girl and now Independence Day: Resurgence, in which she plays the president of the United States.

Ward explains how she studied Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail to prepare for a role as the most powerful woman on Earth.
