There is a rapidly increasing number of frail elderly nationwide, and with 10,000 Americans turning 65 every day, the burden of care is immense for states, communities and individual families.

There is also a rapidly approaching caregiving crisis with few answers on how best to fund the needs of our aging population.

Growing Bolder has an important role to play in navigating this crisis because most leaders in healthcare, caregiving, and senior services now realize the critical need of getting ahead of the problem by encouraging and supporting positive lifestyle modification. We are all our own primary care providers and positive lifestyle modification is the ultimate solution to lowering future healthcare costs and improving the quality of life for all of us as we age.

We stopped by Florida Senior Day and found a state actively engaged in celebrating and solving the issues facing its senior citizens.
