A Masterclass in Active Longevity

In

In a pool filled with former high school, college and even Olympic athletes, an unlikely relay team stood out at the Rowdy Gaines Masters Classic.

With a combined age of more than 360, John Corse, Ed Graves, Betty Lorenzi and Joan Campbell had the chance to smash two things: a world record and expectations for what 80- and 90-year-olds can do.

And with every stroke, this relay team inspired people a quarter of their age and younger to start Growing Bolder.

(We also proudly presented Rowdy himself with a special award — it’s a must-watch story!)
