ORLANDO (Jan. 7, 2020) – Three-time Emmy Award-winner Michael Nanus was named Director of Production for Special Projects at Growing Bolder, one of the nation’s leaders in active lifestyle content production.
Nanus heads up the video and audio production at the multi-platform company. He shoots and edits for Growing Bolder’s national American Public TV show, radio shows on NPR and podcasts. Nanus also heads production for video sales and marketing presentations.
“My objectives have always remained the same: Tell a good story and engage the viewer,” Nanus said.
Nanus brings 30 years of award-winning experience that includes technical director at NBC’s first daytime interactive, on-air, online and in-studio experience in addition to 16 years at WESH-TV, where he served as editor, technical director, producer and videographer. More recently, he was a senior producer at WUCF-TV, where he helped the station transition to a PBS station and helped deliver the station’s first Emmy Award.
Nanus, a University of Central Florida graduate and former adjunct professor, has earned the industry’s most prestigious awards. In addition to his Emmys, he also was honored with the Edward R. Murrow Award as editor in a documentary, and he won four Telly Awards.
