ORLANDO (May 5, 2021) – Stephen Kerepesi, who has built a legendary 25-year career in marketing, at companies such as global sports giant IMG and the Pac-12 Networks, recently was named executive vice president at Growing Bolder, a major multi-media producer and worldwide leader in rebranding aging.

Kerepesi, who is based in Los Angeles, said his focus will be on raising awareness nationally and getting the word out to the corporate marketplace, while building long-term, strategic relationships for Growing Bolder. The company, with headquarters in Orlando, is a leader in serving the explosive growth of the 50-plus market with a national platform that includes TV, digital, social, radio, print, special events and soon gaming and sports.

“The 50-plus market in the United States is comprised of 115 million people – a marketer’s dream,” Kerepesi said. “Unfortunately, this consumer group has been overlooked and underserved. We want to change the narrative and redefine aging.”

Kerepesi noted that this important demographic will grow by 40 million in the next decade, has $400 billion in purchasing power and makes up 70% of the disposable income available.

“To have someone of Stephen’s caliber on our team is a tremendous boost to our national strategy,” Growing Bolder President Robert Thompson said. “His experience at some of the largest and most renowned international firms, such as IMG, brings a unique, powerful asset to Growing Bolder and our partners.”

Kerepesi has enjoyed a meteoric rise in marketing since graduating from Post University in Connecticut. He was senior vice president over U.S. business development at New York-based IMG, which represented some of the biggest names in sports. He went on to become vice president of corporate partnerships and integrated marketing and sales for the Pac-12 Networks, which he helped launch. In the past few years, he served as chief revenue officer for digital-technology savvy ANC and as executive vice president over growth for Chicago-based branding and design agency Soulsight.

Kerepesi will serve on Growing Bolder’s business development team headed by Thompson, who has hired top talent in the fields of journalism and business development. Recently, the company partnered with Twitch to launch the new Growing Bolder channel for gaming, musicians, makers and discussion. The BolderX intergenerational “Among Us” tournament will debut on the channel June 10.

“We want to take advantage of digital,” Kerepesi said. “Our business model has been built on storytelling and creating compelling content. That’s our secret sauce.”

Growing Bolder was founded in 2007 by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Marc Middleton. The multi-media company produces TV and radio programs, a podcast and lifestyle magazine. Growing Bolder enjoys 300 million impressions annually across its platforms.
