JD Motes loves surfing, foiling, wind surfing and paddleboarding. In fact, when it comes to the stand-up paddleboard, even though he’s 69 years old, Motes is a rock star. So much so that a pro paddleboard superstar, less than half his age, thinks hanging out with him is about as cool as it gets. We hit the surf in Jacksonville and celebrate the joy in doing something you love.
