Ellen Langer is one of the world’s preeminent social psychologists, a Harvard professor and author of 11 books who has designed some amazing research studies to determine how the mind influences the body. We were immediately drawn to her research because she believes that much of the decline of old age may be driven by negative perceptions about ones later years. Dr.Langer has proven that mindset determines outcome and a change in self-perception can lead to a change in reality, that “thinking young” can actually make us look younger. This is a fascinating talk by Dr. Langer on the power of mind over matter.
