ORLANDO (July 6, 2021) – Tim Killian, a talented, veteran broadcaster, who built an international reputation in sports media during his eight-year stint at the Golf Channel, recently joined Growing Bolder as its newest producer.

Killian is off to a fast start at Growing Bolder, a leading world producer of content for active, older adults. He recently led production of BolderX, the first ever intergenerational gaming tournament, which kickstarted Growing Bolder’s new Twitch channel.

In his previous role at the Golf Channel, seen in over 70 countries, in nine languages, Killian was the lead producer of Emmy-nominated “Morning Drive,” a popular, two-hour daily talk show. He also contributed to the network’s coverage of the sport’s biggest events, including the Masters, U.S. Open and British Open. Additionally, Killian contributed to the production of reports from the 2014 Winter Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics.

With Growing Bolder recently being named the official media partner for the National Senior Games Association, CEO Marc Middleton said Killian’s sports-production background will be a tremendous asset. For now, Killian says he is enjoying the variety of production opportunities in his new role.

“I’m inspired by the content we get to create and the stories we get to tell every day,” Killian said. “My focus ranges from feature production, to writing and stacking shows, live producing digital shows, special events – and everything in between.”

Growing Bolder Executive Vice President Jackie Carlin said, “Tim brings a fresh energy and perspective to all our projects. From day one, he hasn’t hesitated to dive in to tackle new challenges and duties; and he’s quickly become an integral part of our editorial team. At his heart, he’s a storyteller; and I’m confident he’ll help our programs and projects flourish in the years to come.”

Killian is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism and minored in business management.

Growing Bolder was founded in 2007 by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Marc Middleton. The multi-media company produces TV and radio programs, a podcast and lifestyle magazine. Growing Bolder enjoys 300 million impressions annually across its platforms.
