Four-time Olympic triathlete Hunter Kemper recently took a break from his training in Colorado Springs to return to his hometown … to take a walk.

He joined thousands of others in the annual Central Florida Heart Walk, and there was one walker in particular he was there to honor — his father, Tom.

Just eight months ago, Tom, who didn’t even realize anything was wrong, suddenly had to undergo quintuple bypass heart surgery.

He explains how the experience has dramatically changed his life and the surprising things he’s learned about how much of a role nutrition, not just exercise, plays in your overall health.

His son, Hunter, talks to us about his record-setting quest to qualify for a fifth Olympic Games and why he’s ready to prove all the doubters wrong who say 40 is too old to compete.
